ING Life launches unique child product
ING Life India launched a new child insurance product "ING Aashirwad" that helps parents plan for their child's future goal and thereafter protect its life without any additional cost.
The new child product helps parents to fulfil their responsibility with the required funds for education, marriage or any other milestone, ING Life chief distribution officer, Rahul Agarwal, told reporters here on Thursday.
He said ING Ashirwad is a non-linked and non-participative child plan. In case of any eventuality to the parent, plan will offer an additional equal to 50 per cent of the guaranteed maturity as death benefit and the policy will continue. Future premiums being waived off. On maturity the child will get the full maturity value of the policy, Agarwal added.
Parents have the option to further enhance the protection cover by adding Accidental Death Benefit (ADB) or Accidental Death, Disability and Dismemberment Benefit (ADDDB), he said.
